TrustedID Identity Theft Review

TrustedID.com stops identity theft before it happens. Customers have control over their credit through TrustedID’s web-based service called IDFreeze. This product includes an easy on/off button to set credit locks or flags on your reports, requesting that creditors contact you for permission before doing anything with your credit reports. This is a right of all Americans, according to the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003. You can place locks on your credit reports for free by yourself - however, you must renew these locks every 90 days. TrustedID will do this automatically for you.

We have collected actual TrustedID reviews to help you decide if the product is right for you:

Company Info: According to company co-founder Scott Mitic, TrustedID is designed to help "proactively prevent identity theft," rather than follow the typical approach of offering protection for consumers after their data has been stolen.

Product Info: The company claims to have its own cool features called "IDFreeze" which includes a "Lender DoubleCheck" that prevents lenders from offering new credit to the user unless they verify the user's identity via phone or e-mail.

IDFreeze also offers subscribers the ability to lock their credit down and prevent new accounts from being opened in the user's name. "ID Freeze" would cost subscribers $7.95 a month after a 30-day free trial. However it should be noted that not all states will support the lock down so you should make sure that it's actually effective in your own state.

Return Policy: There is no refund for such a service that I could find on the website however they do have a 30 day trial so I suppose you couldnt go wrong just trying it out for 30 days to see what happens.
